Do I need to make a booking?

Casual Bowling (less than 15 people) - Yes, it is always best to make a booking before you come in. That way we can guarantee you a lane when you arrive.

Group Bookings (more than 15 people) - Yes, if you are organising a group to come bowling, book ahead as far as possible in advance. It always pays to confirm your group at least 7 days before you'd like to come in.

Do we need to pay a deposit?

Casual Bowling (less than 15) - No, but we do request that you let us know if you are unable to come or have reduced numbers, so we put other people on the lanes.

Group Bookings (more than 15) - Yes for bookings of 15 or more people we will require a deposit to confirm your booking. This will be confirmed with you when you make your booking.

How long does a game take?

As a rule of thumb, it takes approximately 10 minutes per person, per game. So for 1 game, 6 people will take approximately 60 minutes, 5 people 50 minutes, 4 people 40 minutes and so on. We do request that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your booking time to have your lane allocated, get your shoes and pay the counter. If you are late and we are busy, we cannot hold your booking for you.

How do we do the scoring?

The scoring system is totally automatic, so all you need to do is bowl!

How does the scoring work?

Basically you receive 1 point for each pin you knock down without registering a strike or a spare. Every time you get a spare, it doubles the next ball you bowl. When you strike, this doubles the next TWO balls you bowl.
Our friendly counter staff can talk you through your scores if you would like to know more.

What is highest score you can get?

300, this is achieved by getting a strike with every ball you bowl. That's a whole 12 strikes in a row!

Can we have a print out of our scores to take away?

Yes, just ask for a print out when you return your shoes.

Do we need to bring any special equipment?

No, everything is provided and included in our prices, but we suggest you bring socks.

Why do we have to wear bowling shoes?

Bowling shoes are specially designed for tenpin and are only worn inside the bowling centre. They have special leather soles that prevent damage to the bowling lanes, plus they let you slide while you're bowling, which prevents jolting your knees and hips. Your street shoes do not allow you to do this, please do not be offended if we insist you remove them.

Is food and drink available?

Yes, food is available on request and drinks are served from the Strike Zone counter, which is open up to about 30 minutes before we close. Our bar is fully licensed, however all drinks must be kept within the Strike Zone area.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

No, our food and drink licenses do not allow you to bring your own into the centre.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes! We have a portable ramp for access to our lanes. No matter what your ability you can bowl with us!
